
Meet Lauren S. Cannon
Lauren Cannon is a multi-media artist whose work fuses technical mastery with playfulness and storytelling. She specializes in oil painting, encaustic techniques, resin, sculptural, and fiber arts, often experimenting with light and layered color. A passionate educator and advocate for arts accessibility, she leads community outreach efforts, including creating art kits for the homeless and therapeutic art programs for young girls. Lauren holds a BFA in painting from Southern Methodist University, and an MAT in art education and BFA in graphic design from the University of Memphis. She lives in Memphis with her husband and five children.
